Parent Meeting and Questionnaire
The Parent Meeting on 12th January was well attended. Mrs Magill would like to thank all of the parents who were able to come.

Friends of St Andrew's (FOSA) next meeting is Wednesday, 20th January at 7.30pm in school. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Friday 8th Bus Schedule
The school coach will be running, however can students from the Langley Vale area please walk up to the bus stop nearest the grandstand opposite the Derby Stables on Ashley Road. Students should aim to be at this bus stop at 8am.
The 518 will be running as normal.
The 519 will not run unless there is an update on this website to the contrary.
Surrey transport inform us that other operators will make the decision tomorrow morning, we will pass this information on as soon as it has been received.

FOSA Christmas Shopping Evening
Thank you to all those that came along to the FOSA Christmas Shopping Evening, as well as all the traders and organisers who helped make the evening such a success. With a wonderful selection of gifts, jewellery and cakes to choose from it was a lovely evening.

Grange Road Roadworks Update
We have been advised that the temporary closure of Grange Road from the A24 will now take place from 7.00am Monday 23rd November. Click here to view the original letter that was sent home.

Sponsored Walk Update
Thank you to all our families and staff who took part in the family walk on Saturday. Once again the weather was kind to us although it was a little colder than last year.
Hopefully this has given your sponsorship raising a good boost ready for the main walk on Friday. Fingers crossed for good weather as rain is currently forecast, remember to send the students in to school in the appropriate clothing. If it is raining we will only complete the short walk.
Thank you once again for all your support.
School Photographs
On Monday 19th October Years 7, 9, 11, 12 and 13 are having their photographs taken. These will be available to purchase at a later date.
FOSA Christmas Shopping Night
FOSA are holding a Christmas Shopping Evening on Thursday 19th November, 7.00 - 9.30pm here at St. Andrew's. Entrance costs £1 (students free). Staff Training Day
School will be closed on Monday 9th November 2009 for a Staff Training Day.
Parent Governor Required
St. Andrew's is looking for a Parent Governor. If you are a parent of a St. Andrew's student and are interested in the post please write to Mrs Burke c/o Mrs McEnaney.
September FOSA Lucky Numbers Draw

Early Closure and Inset Day
On Tuesday 6th October students will leave at 12.30pm.
Wednesday 7th October is an Inset Day.
Sponsored Walk
We will be holding our family sponsored marathon and student sponsored walk again this year.
The family walk day is on Saturday 17th October with the students completing the remaining miles needed with the sponsored walk on Friday 23rd October.
This is a major fundraiser for the year, this year we will be supporting Action in Africa, Iraqi Christians in Need and our Sports Hall fundraising.

FOSA Christmas Shopping Night
Friends of St Andrew's (FOSA) are planning a Christmas Shopping night, this will take place on Thursday 19th November between 7pm and 9pm. If you know anyone who runs a small business like Avon, Book People etc and would like to book a table for that night please let Mandy Callaghan know and she will send a booking form. Mandy can be contacted by email or by phoning the school on 01372 277881 and leaving her a message.
